The 30th Grammy Awards show was organized at Radio City Music Hall, on 2nd March 1988. Billy Crystal was the presenter for the evening. The Academy recognized the artists for their excellent performance in the music industry for the year 1987. U2, Michael Jackson and Suzanne Vega were the artists nominated in most of the Grammy categories. U2 conquered highest Grammys for the year; while Larnelle Harris, Julio Iglesias, Bill Withers were presented with one Grammy each. Jody Watley was presented with the notable ‘Best New Artist’ award and Paul Simon was honored with ‘Record of the Year’ award for “Graceland”.
