Cavill brings a great intensity to the role, and his physicality and martial arts skills make him an intimidating presence. His performance is the perfect complement to the already stellar cast. He expertly portrays the cold, calculating, and ruthless August Walker, while still managing to bring a level of humanity to the character. He is able to convey emotion and depth with subtlety, making the character relatable and sympathetic. Cavill's performance is one of the highlights of the movie and he is a great addition to the already stellar Mission: Impossible franchise. He proves once again that he is a talented actor who is capable of playing a wide range of roles.
