The glamorous Star Screen Awards was first handed out in the year 1994. The Screen Awards are the first film awards which are presented by a panel of esteemed professionals from the film industry itself. Every year the jury announces the winners in the month of January. The inaugural award was presented to the film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’, which was produced by Rajshri Productions.
