Many people, inspired by the stars of Bollywood, aspire to take up acting as a career. This is reason that every year, many new arrivals can be noticed in the industry. Acting is an innate trait, which is polished with time. However, there are very few who are able to leave an impression in the minds of people, with their talent, in the debut film. In order to encourage the budding talent, Filmfare instituted an award for the 'Best Male Debut'. This category of awards is for those male actors who made a remarkable entry in Bollywood. Intially, the award was known as 'Filmfare Award for the Most Sensational Debut'. Later on, it was renamed and separate categories were created for male and female debutants. Till date, Sooraj R.
