In 1973 it was again changed to Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo, Group or Chorus. In 1978 it was awarded as Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Group. In 1979 it was again awarded as Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group. Since 1981it has been awarded as Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals. The Beatles are the most nominated band in the category with 7 nominations, winning the award twice.
