The Grammy Award - Best Traditional Blues Album has been handed out since 1983. The category has been largely dominated by B.B. King, who has won the award ten times. From 2001 to 2003 the recipients - the award included the producers and engineers along with the artists. The award was known as Best Traditional Blues Performance until 1992. It was also twice awarded to individual tracks before the award was renamed Best Traditional Blues Album.
