The 7th Grammys were held on 13th April, 1965 at Beverly Hilton Hotel (Los Angeles). The Academy recognized accomplishments of the artists for the year 1964. Throughout 1960s, the ceremony was telecasted as ‘The Best on Record’, a series of tapped annual specials on NBC. Henry Mancini, Quincy Jones and Roger Miller were the mostly nominated artists in the Grammy categories.
